012: Lovely Scrummy Colours

Just thought I'd pop by to show you the lovely colours of yarn that I bought today.  I know that today isn't particularly sunny, in fact it's quite miserable here in Cheshire today, but I am thinking of the spring and summer months to come.  I have totally packed in winter knitting now and am all geared up to lovely spring cottons.

So here are my colours

I'm not sure whether you get the full effect of the lovely green and the mushroom tones, so here's another piccy...

That's better!

I'm starting a new project, I'll give you a sneaky peak soon!

Happy Knitting.

Goodbye for now.
Fleur

  2. "Mushroom" is a fantastic color. If I could, everything in my house would be that color with some soft blue hues to pop!

  9. The cottons look beautiful. I always like knitting with cotton in the hotter months although this year I havent acheived that. Your spring basket cardigan is just gorgeous with those special little details!

  13. Hi there! What gorgeous yarn, such pretty spring colours too. Thank you for leaving a lovely comment over in my little part of blogland.... I am pretty new to both crochet and knitting but find crochet that bit easier for some reason. I would love to become a 'proper' knitter one day but I am such a wimp and always go for the easy patterns, lol.... Maybe you could give me some tips? :-)

I'll pop by again soon, can't wait to see what you make with that scrummy yarn!!
